The Sunday Sport is launching what it describes as a new free "lads' mag" which will be included with the paper this weekend. Clout will be fortnightly and "packed with hilarious banter, glamour girls and football features". Editor Nick Appleyard said: "We're tapping into a huge gap in the market. Every other Sunday newspaper has glossy magazines dedicated to women and blokes are largely ignored. "If they do want a lads mag, they have to pay through the nose for it – but not any more. "This is an exciting new product which gives added value to the newspaper – and we've got lots of other exciting plans in the pipeline. Watch this space!"
