The Sunday Herald this week devoted an entire page to an apology over the use of the phrase “bead rattling” in an article about Celtic manager Gordon Strachan.
Kenny Hodgart is no longer to write his “Leftfield” column for the paper, AllmediaScotland reported. The phrase is considered to be a pejorative reference to the rosary beads used by some Catholics.
