Journalists at the Daily Express have called of further planned strikes after accepting a three per cent pay rise and an agreement from management to discuss bringing outsourced work back in house.
The pay rise, which was the original offer, will be backdated to January 1
According to the NUJ: “It is expected that productivity savings will result in an improved deal for journalists at the company’s titles and have the potential to substantially improve job security.”
