Stevie Spring, chief executive of special interest publisher Future, has been appointed as the new deputy chairman of the PPA – the magazine industry body.
Spring will take over the post from 1 April, taking over from Peter Phippen, managing director of BBC Magazines.
The PPA appointed former Smash Hits editor Barry McIlheney as chief executive in February last year and recently rebranded itself as the Professional Publishers Association.
Its annual conference will take place on 4 May this year.
