The latest twist in the rollercoaster history of Spectator Business will see Press Holdings take it back to monthly distribution.
The title was launched as a monthly in May 2008 out of the ashes of The Business, the weekly business newspaper and then magazine which was closed in February of that year after a 12-year struggle to turn a profit.
Spectator Business was said by publisher Andrew Neil to be in profit from issue one, with a free distribution of 42,000.
However it reduced frequency to quarterly in April 2009.
Now Campaign reports that it is moving back to monthly format, and will be available on WH Smith travel newsstands. It is not currently ABC audited, but is understood to have a completely free distribution.
