Guardian.co.uk launch editor Simon Waldman is the latest senior figure from Guardian News and Media to leave the journalism business.
The Guardian Media Group director of digital strategy is leaving to join film rental service LoveFilm, Media Week and others report. His departure after 14 years with the publisher closely follows the exit of Guardian News and Media director of digital content Emily Bell after nearly 18 years with The Guardian to take a job in academia in the US.
GMG chief executive Carolyn McCall revealed her departure in March to join budget airline Easyjet.
