An international publishing house is looking for a managing editor. You will be responsible for managing a range of titles and aid with its future growth and development. You should have previous publishing experience.

The job involves editing manuscripts, liaison with authors and editors, and supervision of the processes of publishing. You should be a PhD/Doctorate, with a mathematical element and computer literate.

ITN On is looking for a news editor. You will be responsible for leading a team of multi-media journalists, overseeing the editorial standards for all content across news, sport and entertainment and writing core feed text content, when required.
You should have a proven track record in making compelling content for multi-media platforms in both video and text form. You should be familiar with video editing software with a recognised qualification in media law.

North Yorkshire Police is looking for a press and communications officer to work within the Press and Communications Department, on a fixed term until March 31, 2010.
You will support the North Yorkshire Police communications plan and the development of safer neighbourhoods through electronic and written communications. You should have an experience in journalism, press office or public relations.

You will contribute to the live news service, daily PDF and weekly magazine by researching and writing market reports and company news in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience wuld be an advantage.

BBC West is hiring a senior broadcast journalist take a direct responsibility for additional weekend output. You will be working in a multi-media environment as an accomplished and creative producer & presenter.
You will have strong and authoritative on-air presence and be confident reporting on a range of stories, particularly sport. You’ll need a good contacts book and a track record of delivering original stories with flair.
