The Guardian suggests today that the latest regional press circulation figures are a suicide note for Britain’s regional newspapers. Which reflects the fact that nearly every daily newspaper has lost sales year-on-year.
But it is a tad alarmist considering the fact that Press Gazette’s analysis of the figures shows an improved performance in all sectors compared to the last six-month audit – which was itself better than the period before.
