The picture stock agency behind a controversial web “micropayment” scheme for photojournalists has reported a quarter of record turnover.
Alamy – which launched a system last month allowing bloggers and small websites to pay as little as 60p for the licence to use an image – said second-quarter revenues rose 19.5 per cent year on year to $8.52m (£4.29m).
