Sun editor Rebekah Wade has added her tribute to News of the World executive editor Bob Warren, who died on Tuesday after a short illness.
Quoted on page two of today’s Sun she said: “There is only one word to describe him – legend. He was a gentleman who always helped young colleagues.”
NoW legal manager and close friend of Bob Tom Crone said: “He was incredibly wise and serenely affable.”
The funeral will be held on 15 January at Golders Green crematorium in North West London.
