The title, which has been produced by RCN’s wholly owned subsidiary RCN Publishing since launch in 1989, will change its name from next month to better the way nursing children has evolved.
Rhonda Oliver, RCN Publishing managing director, said: ‘Paediatric Nursing is a long-standing and well respected journal that has been the leader in its field for many years.
‘The name change reflects the fact that nurses now work with children in a variety of settings and the role has changed considerably since the journal was first published.”
Paediatric Nursing is published ten times a year and made available by subscription. It has an ABC figure of 12,477.
