The BBC will launch a version of its flagship television current affairs programme Panorama for younger people on Radio 1 – according to a report today.
Radio 1 controller Andy Parfitt told a Broadcasting Press Guild breakfast this morning that the programme would be “long form single issue” news and current affairs show, the Guardian reported.
The show was currently in development with BBC News, Parfitt said, and was part of the BBC Switch programming strand.
