Racing Post’s paid-for website approaches 10,000 subscribers

By Dominic wireposts

The Racing Post is approaching getting 10,000 paid subscribers for its website, the Independent reports.

The daily newspaper about horse racing launched a beefed up website in July.

According to Racing Post chief executive Alan Byrne: “If you want real detail and full access to our database of more than 20 years on every horse that’s ever run in Britain and Ireland and the opinion of our experts on the quality of performances or the ratings we ascribe to each performance then we invite people to become members.”

The Racing Post offers a variety of online services including a premium tipping service for £9.50 a month and live online racing footage from Racing UK for £7.50.
