The Orwell Prize has added a special prize for political blogs to coincide with the Orwell Diaries blog going online.
The Orwell Prize – awarded for political writing – is now taking entries, the other categories being books and journalism.
The awards are for those ‘who come closest to achieving George Orwell’s ambition to make political writing into an art”.
