Ofcom publishes 298-page-report full of foul language

By Dominic wireposts

Ofcom has published a 298-page report on public attitudes to rude words broadcast on TV and radio.

The interesting bit is on pages 89 to 98 where it groups words in terms of their relative offensiveness. No prizes for guessing what is the most offensive one.

I feel safe enough repeating the following words, as they are the ones that the British public finds least offensive: ‘arse’, ‘breasts’, ‘bum’, ‘damn’ and ‘tits’.
