Observer Sport Monthly magazine has celebrated its 100th issue this weekend. The title launched in May 2000.
Observer editor John Mulholland said: “In some ways it may have seemed off to launch a sport magazine back then, with coverage of the subject having mushroomed in the previous five years. But we set out to be something different.”
