Now it’s Coren’s Nosh: The Movie

By Axegrinder

Restaurant critic Giles Coren’s infamous attack on Times subs for having the cheek to change his copy has inspired this hilarious parody on You Tube.

It makes use of a clip from the 2004 German movie Downfall, about the last days of Adolf Hitler, but adds fresh subtitles to turn it into a scene where the chief sub reviews the previous day’s subbing … including Coren’s famous use of the word “nosh”.

The film appears to be the work of someone calling himself “shandypockets”. He explains the film thus: “Just another day at the Times…and the previous day’s subbing is nervously assessed… I was bored and ill, so I made this…I’m just jumping on the parody bandwagon for this clip.”

Do not miss this gem.
