Northern Echo launches app edition

The Northern Echo has today launched an app edition of the daily paper .

The Northern Echo app is available from iTunes to download to iPad and iPhone and costs £4.99 a month with a month’s free trial.

The app includes the four editions of  County Durham, South Durham, Tees Valley & North Yorkshire, and Darlington.

The paper said that traffic to northernecho.co.uk has now reached 3million impressions a month.
