The Newcastle-based Journal and Middlesbrough Evening Gazette are offering every visitor to their business news website £100,000 cash.
The virtual money is to be play a new online stocks and shares trading game called Taking Stock.
The game will be based on the Trinity Mirror titles’ nebusiness.co.uk website using software developed by Newcastle company Scott Logic.
