BBC’s news programme for children, Newsround, is to air a documentary investigating knife crime.
The documentary will be based on recent research by the 35-year-old programme that children felt violence and crime were real concerns for them, reports Media Guardian.
The programme is one of two to be directed by Kez Margie for Newsround, who is also worked on a documentary about divorce.
Margie’s The Wrong Trainers, about UK child poverty, won both a Bafta and a Royal Television Society award last year.
