City University has assembled a great panel for a panel discussion tomorrow night entitled: How far should a reporter go? The lessons of the News of the World phone-hacking story.
Speakers promised are: Max Mosley, Roy Greenslade and Nick Davies from The Guardian, former News of the World reporter Paul McMullan, solicitor Mark Lewis and director of public prosecutions Sir Ken Macdonald.

On Jon Slattery’s blog there is a piece by Max Mosley in which he explains why he is going to the European Court in a bid to get the law on privacy strengthened.

Mosley wants prior-notification for the targets of stories which breach privacy to be enshrined in law.
Mosley writes: “A breach of privacy can be hideously painful for the victim and his family. It is much worse than burglary.”
