Journalists around the UK and Ireland today showed their solidarity for colleagues murdered yesterday in the attack on the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Nine journalists, one worker and two police were murdered yesterday by gunmen who appeared to be Islamist extremists.
Journalists in many newsrooms observer a minute's silence at 11am and also shared photographs on social media using the slogan: "Je suis Charlie" – see below (more pics share by the NUJ on Flickr).
