Johnston Press staff in Edinburgh take three per cent rise

AllMediaScotland is reporting that NUJ members at Johnston Press’s Edinburgh titles have accepted a three per cent pay rise deal.

Journalists at the Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and the Edinburgh Evening News all voted for the deal apparently by a “large majority”. Around 20 staff will get pay rises of between five and 9.2 per cent to correct anomalies.j
