By colinc

ITV’s annual profits have fallen by 35 per cent to £188m in 2007, reports the BBC.

But ITV chair Michael Grade said that viewers were coming back to the channel and his first priority since taking over was to stem the decline at the broadcaster.

Viewing figures across the ITV channels was up for the first time since the 1990s and the decline in advertising revenue appeared to slow, down by 4 per cent in 2007 compared to 12 per cent in 2006.
