Irish Times to be Ireland’s first ’24-hour newspaper’

The Irish Times is set to become Ireland’s first “24-hour” newspaper with staff across its print and online operations fully intergrated, according to the Sunday Tribune.

Journalists from ireland.com, the paper’s website, moved into the newspaper’s offices to work alongside the print edition journalists two weeks ago.

The NUJ confirmed that management are consulting on staff on an agreement on how the changes will affect theit working day.
