iPad publishing pioneer Anthony Noguera joins line up for News on the Move at Google on 11 April

By Press Gazette

The editor of the world’s first iPad ‘native’ magazine Anthony Noguera has been confirmed as a speaker at this year’s News on the Move conference organised by Press Gazette in association with Google.

News on the Move aims to tells digital journalists and publishers how to make great journalism work on iPads and tablet devices.

Former Arena editor Noguera launched PROJECT magazine for Virgin in November 2010 and last year launched iPad-only magazine for men INDUSTRIA.

He said: “At the moment big publishing groups are designing print magazines and sticking them on iPads and that’s only going to get you so far."

He plans to reveal some of the pitfalls and secrets of publishing for iPad, why tablet computers aren't neccessarily the "Holy Grail" for journalist and how to get around the drawbacks of publishing on the strictly controlled Kindle Fire and Apple iPad platforms.
