Honorary doctorate for BBC correspondent Orla Guerin

BBC journalist Orla Guerin is to receive an honorary degree from Queen’s University in Belfast.

The BBC’s Dublin-born Africa correspondent Orla Guerin, who spent years in the Middle east reporting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, gets her honorary doctorate for services to broadcasting.

The degree will be conferred at a graduation ceremony in July.
