The Guardian says it is rethinking the way it presents live blogs of fast-moving news stories, such as the Middle East uprisings.
Guardian.co.uk blogs editor Matt Wells writes in today’s paper: “The BBC has done an excellent job in reformatting its ‘live page’ to include a permanent summary of the latest developments, and an easy link to the latest version of the conventionally written news story. The Guardian is rethinking how it presents the format too.”
Wells says live blogging has attracted 3.6 million unique users to Guardian.co.uk so far this month (9% of the total).
