Guardian.co.uk last week unvielled a new feature that allows users to create profile pages of stories they have read on the site.
The feature, called “Clippings” allows readers to read a web page or RSS feed of stories selected on the site by other readers. To add a story to their own clippings page, readers click on a scissors icon on the story.
The clippings list of Guardian director of digital content Emily Bell has been published as a demonstration of the tool.
Update: Paul Bradshaw of the Online Journalism Blog is not impressed by the new feature.
