GQ editor slams Esquire

By Rachael

Dylan Jones, editor of GQ in the UK, has said that the relaunch of NatMag’s upmarket men’s monthly, GQ Esquire, was a “total failure”.

The redesign under former Wallpaper editor-in-chief Jeremy Langmead saw the circulation turn around in the February ABCs, recording a 14 per cent year on year rise, but Jones told the Observer it was ‘a total failure’, because ‘they are selling 10 per cent less at news-stands. They’ll be giving it away at tube stations next.’
