The FT has today announced the launch of its iPhone application. The iPhone application will initially be available as a free download from Apple’s App Store. The application links directly to Financial Times content and is compatible with any iPhone running iPhone OS 3.0. and on all iPod touch models.
The application will provide users with news and analysis, unique markets data and a currency converter as well as access to a global map.
FT.com lead product manager Stephen Pinches said: “The FT’s new iPhone app complements our award-winning mobile website m.ft.com, and is part of our overall goal of making sure our users get the best possible FT experience on any device.”
