Former NUJ general secretary John Foster has urged members of the union to back Tim Arnold for the job of editor of the union’s in-house magazine The Journalist.
Foster said he thinks Arnold has: “the right combination of industrial relations experience, reporting skills, and broadcast production knowledge”.
Ballot papers are currently with NUJ members to vote for the elected position. All eight candidates are profiled here.
