Whatever the past crimes of the News of the World – no-one can fault the dignity and professionalism of staff who brought out the final edition of the paper last week.
Now a unique photographic record of that last day has been produced.
These insider photos give a flavour of what must have been an incredibly emotional day for the 280 News of the World staff, some 150 of whom were journalists.
