The BBC’s deputy director of news, Adrian van Klaveren, is in the running for the job as controller of BBC Radio Five Live, according to The Guardian.
Former Radio Five Live deputy controller Steve Kyte and BBC London executive editor Mike McFarlane are also in the final round of interviews for the post left vacant since Bob Shennan quit to join Channel 4 Radio in December.
