Exit for Iain Martin as deputy editor of the Wall Street Journal Europe

By Dominic wireposts

Former editor of The Scotsman, and deputy editor of the Sunday Telegraph, Iain Martin has left his job as deputy editor of the Wall Street Journal Europe. This follows Tracy Corrigan’s appointment as editor in December.

He wrote his last blog post on 22 February,  Roy Greenslade reports.

Martin was made editor of The Scotsman in 2002 at the age of just 30. He is Scottish-born and had spent all of his journalistic career up to that point north of the border.

He joined the Telegraph Group in 2006 after the Scotsman titles were sold by the Telegraph-owning Barclay brothers to Johnston Press for £160m.
