Emap Communications has outsourced all of its travel and accommodation booking to an outside company in a deal reportedly worth £1.2m.
The B2B magazine publisher, which is now joint-owned by the Guardian Media Group and private equity house Apax, has awarded the contract to Portman Travel.
According to Business Travel World, journalists will have access to an online system for any air, rail and hotel bookings that need to be made.
