A Blackpool news agency has decided not to reveal the regiment and of a military officer charged with indecent exposure after receiving a DA-Notice.
The notice asked David Graham of the Watsons Press Agency not to report the regiment or location of the officer, which had been revealed in open court because he had been charged with exposing his private parts while on a trip to Blackpool.
Air Vice-Marshal Andrew Vallance, secretary of the DA Notice Committee, told Holdthefrontpage that the order had been issued under Standing DA-Notice Five, which covers the intelligence services, special services, or others involved in counter-terrorism operations.
Graham told Holdthefrontpage it was the first time in his 35-year career that he had received a DA-Notice.
The case against the officer collapsed because the prosecution failed to prove that his actions had upset or offended anyone.
