Craparazzi: The celeb pics not good enough to print

So, citizen journalism picture agency Scoopt is closing its doors – saying it wasn’t sent “enough content” from mobile snappers to flog to newspapers.

But a new Facebook group is proving that there’s no shortage of amateur celeb pics out there. It’s so far attracted 350 members and published 167 photos.

“Have you ever tried to ‘pap’ a celeb but the result wasn’t really good enough for Heat magazine?” it asks.

“Craparazzi is the place to share your poor quality, out of focus, back of head, badly lit photos of those A, B, C, and D listers.

“The Fleet Street pros can fill the newspapers and magazines. The rest of us can share our efforts on Craparazzi.”
