Channel 4 was hit with a seven-day injunction on Friday, banning it from broadcasting an interview with ex-SAS officer Simon Mann.
Foreign affairs correspondent Jonathan Miller last week interviewed Mann from his prison cell in Equatorial Guinea. He is one of three men accused of plotting a coup in the country in 2004.
Family members have told the Mail on Sunday they fear the interview was done “under duress” by prison officials. Channel 4 insists its interview was “responsible journalism” and was carried out “in accordance with Mr Mann’s wishes”.
