Sky/ITV ruling expected this week
Business secretary John Hutton is to deliver his verdict on BSkyB’s 17.9 per cent swoop on ITV this Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail. The paper says Sky will “almost certainly launch a legal challenge” for compensation if Hutton rules that it has to reduce its stake. A source tells the Daily Mail: “I can see this dragging out for at least another 12 months”.
