The Big Issue Scotland has launched a website – after wrestling with the dilemma of whether a title which exists for on-street sales should have a website at all.
Editor Paul McNamee tells allmediascotland: “It marks a progressive leap forward. It’s essential for the long-term future of the title and everyone who sells it that we get this right.”
Meanwhile a new edition of the Big Issue which has backing from the Scottish government has launched in Malawi.
Press Gazette reported last year on proposals to launch the title in one of the poorest countries in the world.
