Former editor of Arena Anthony Noguera has launched a new iPad-only magazine called INDUSTRIA.
Publisher Ai Ltd describes the new title as a ‘lifestyle magazine that will appeal to the digitally savvy male consumer’with an emphasis on the visual arts. It is described as “focusing on the point where movies, games, fashion and the digital arts collide”.
Noguera launched PROJECT magazine in November 2010 as one of the first iPad-only magazine titles. He left the project, which was a joint venture between Seven Publishing and Virgin Digital Media, in November last year.
INDUSTRIA had a ‘soft launch’last Friday. Issue one is available to download for free, and issue two is expected in the third week of March.
The monthly title will be paid for, but the price has yet to be set.
Noguera said he is looking forward to creating magazine apps for the Amazon Fire, once it is released in the UK.
He said: ‘It has been going gangbusters in the US and we want to push the boundaries.”
The first issue of INDUSTRIA features BAFTA award-winning actor Paddy Considine, an exclusive video shoot with Rafe Spall and an interactive feature with The Descendants actress Shailene Woodley.
