ABC to publish cross-platform report

By Martin Stabe wirepost

ABC and ABCe will tomorrow publish its first cross-platform report for national newspapers recording both print circulation and website traffic.

The new report format will reveal no new information, but will show national newspapers’ month-on-month and year-on-year growth in both print and online in a single document for the first time.

This data was previously only available by collating the individual group product reports of those newspapers which regularly publish their ABCe online traffic audits.

The titles covered by the new cross-platform report are: the Daily Mail and Sunday Mail, the Guardian and Observer, The Sun and News of the World, the Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, and the Times and Sunday Times.

The Trinity Mirror, Northern & Shell and Independent titles, which do not publish their ABCe figires, will not be included in the report.
