Kent Messenger Group talks to 4,500 readers

By Press Gazette

The Kent Messenger Group has conducted 4,500 face-to-face interviews in one of its largest reader surveys.

The survey, which was carried out in the first half of 2006, aimed to gauge opinion and preferences across the Kent Messenger range.

Around 70 per cent of those interviewed said they had used a product owned by the group (which includes newspapers, websites and radio stations) over the last week.

Some 85 per cent of interviewees said they had used the Kent Messenger's products more now compared with a year earlier.

According to the survey, people turn first to KMG when finding information on local entertainment, eating out, motoring, property and recruitment.

The group's website, Kent Online, is visited for local news, jobs, local entertainments, cars and houses.
