Glasgow University’s triple win at press awards

The Glasgow University Magazine has won three top prizes in the
Scottish Student Press Awards – including student journalist of the
year for its fashion editor Jenny Munro.

Munro won a prize of
£500, plus a paid work placment on The Herald which sponsors the annual
awards in association with the Scottish Qualifications Authority and
Lloyds TSB Scotland.

The awards winners were:

Best News Writer: Robert Mackie Guardian, Glasgow University.
