@gallaghereditor maintains dignified silence after foreign correspondent gets angry on Twitter

Telegraph Pakistan correspondent Rob Crilly today appears to have removed the messages from his Twitter account in which he yesterday launched a tirade against foreign news editor Neville Dean.

Appealing directly to @gallaghereditor on Twitter (aka Daily Telegraph editor Tony Gallagher) he said that his copy had been “twisted beyond all recognition”. He later told his Twitter followers “I think I’ll be sacked” and then simply said that a certain individual is a c*** (my asterisks not his).

No word from either @robcrilly or @gallaghereditor on this today.

The row made page three of yesterday’s Evening Standard.
