First day for new 3am girls

By Rachael

Two new faces grace the Mirror’s 3am column today. Clemmie Moodie and Danielle Lawler introduce themselves to readers as the new recruits for the paper’s showbiz gossip column, saying: “Celebs be warned – if you cross our paths, you will feel our devilish wrath!”

Lawler, formerly deputy editor of the Sun’s Bizarre column, and Moodie, who joins the paper from the Daily Mail, list celebrities they already love and hate, and declare that Big Brother contestants will not be gracing their pages.

In biogs of the new hires, Lawler reveals that she went undercover as a waitress to work at Coleen McLoughlin’s birthday party and Moodie tells how she had to swim away from police in Thailand after she tried to crash a beach party held by Kate Moss.

The duo replace Eva Simpson, who has left to become assistant editor at the London Paper, and Caroline Hedley, who is continuing to work for the paper as a stringer in Los Angeles.
