Dick goes Down Under to re-join his former boss

By Press Gazette

By Hamish Mackay

Sunday Herald joint deputy editor David Dick is to join his former editor Andrew Jaspan in Australia.

Dick will become executive editor of The Age, the Melbourne-based newspaper now edited by Jaspan.

Jaspan left to take up the post in Australia six months ago.

Dick was promoted from sports editor of the Sunday Herald to joint deputy editor by Richard Walker, who succeeded Jaspan.

At the same time, David Milne stepped up from news editor to joint deputy editor.

Dick is recognised as a production and design specialist.
