It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Student Journalism Blog from Press Gazette.
The future of journalism lies with its students. How we adapt and adopt will determine whether journalism lives or dies.
Thankfully, it’s in very good hands. The Student Journalism Blog will be keeping tabs on student journalism across the UK, looking at the great content being produced at universities, colleges and training courses.
Not only this, but we’ll be highlighting students that are making a name for themselves in the professional arena, as well as taking a look at what our counterparts in other parts of the world are up to.
We also need your help. Are you a student journalist? Tell us what you’re up to – we’re very interested. And if you edit a student publication, come and show off your work. Lecturers, tutors and teachers: Now’s your time to blow the trumpet for your students.
