The Sunday Times this week had a piece about an anonymous civil servant who’s blogging about the goings on in Whitehall. An investigation is under way to find out who she is.
“The internet has proved far from reliable for bloggers trying to hide their identity,” it says, giving the example of Zoe Margolis, the film assistant “uncovered” as the author of sex blog Girl With A One-Track Mind.
What the piece fails to mention is the paper’s own role in this. The reason why Margolis was “uncovered” was because of an exposé in … the Sunday Times.
